Mugi Music
This is a collection of albums that I love. I tried to rate them as unbiased as possible from a musical standpoint.
"Turn on The Bright Lights," Interpol
When I first heard of Interpol, the song in particular was Obstacle 1 on this album. After falling in love with that song I wanted to love more of their music but nothing really clicked with me like that one did, I kept listening to this album on repeat trying to "get" it. Eventually one day it all came together for me, and to this day it stands as my favorite album of all time. Turn on the Bright Lights, released in 2002 in the now post-9/11 New York City, their sound was often compared to that of Joy Division, including the depressing lyrics, almost setting the mood for how people felt at the center of one of the biggest targedies in American History.

"Magnolia Electric Co.," Songs: Ohia
I was first introduced to this album--and Jason Molina--through my 12th grade English teacher; While I consider this more as "Indie Folk" it is usually associated with country, and so this would be my first country album that I could genuinely say I love. Some songs on this album, I've never related to more when I feel inadequate, and it's great to be able to feel seen. The two features on this album, of Lawrence Peters, and Scout Niblett, I believe hold up just as well as any other song that has Molina singing on it, however I will say Lawrence Peters on, The Old Black Hen, sounds the most traditionally country, whether you're into that type of sound or not.

"Discovery," Daft Punk
Discovery can be creditted with shortly reviving disco music in the early 2000's, and today is consistently considered for the position of greatest album of the 21st century, and with some of the most catchy songs I've ever heard, I understand why. This album to me is my go-to happy playlist, every song on here makes me feel some kinda of way, and is so easy to sing along to, and even just listening to the instrumentals has the same effect. I would recommend listening and watching the music videos on youtube, because this album is also connected to a movie called, "Interstella 5555." I don't have much to say about this album, I just believe it's something that everyone should experience at least once on their own, I believe this album is that good.
